Flowers for Little Zelda from Park Delicatessen

On Saturday, Little Zelda opened their doors, the latest addition to the burgeoning merchant community on and around Franklin Avenue. The cafe and soon-to-be wine bar (once the permits go through) serves coffee, pastries, and freshly-baked breads, and though many merchants in the area offer similar goodies, not one has treated the new place as an unwanted competitor. Instead, they’ve greeted new owners Michael and Kate with open arms, stopping by to say hello, welcoming them into the Merchants Association, and even, in the case of Park Delicatessen, sending them flowers (see above). It’s a great example of how the Franklin Avenue Merchants are working together – if you do business on or near Franklin, join the community!
