An exciting new business in our neighborhood, Social Media for Kids, helps kids present themselves well online!

“Social Media for Kids® is educators, in partnership with social media professionals, helping young people navigate the web in an effective and safe manner while ensuring their future success in a tech-savvy and highly connected world. Our mission is to create and raise awareness amongst youth and their families about the positive and potential negative impact of internet-based Social Media. We ensure this awareness through a curriculum that focuses on social media and multi-media literacy, while integrating the national education standards.  We work with parents and adults to help them communicate with young people and understand the dynamic new Social Media culture.” – Social Media for Kids
